campaign

So my friend called me and asked me If I wanted to go to High Point and see Bill Cinton speak? Off we went thinging we wouldn't even get in. Well we got in and we were 4 rows away from the former president. I listened to his great speech and realize he is a pretty funny guy. Can you believe I even got to shake his hand and tell him I was a Massachusetts native. I have some pictures of him to post. I will edit them tomorrow and poat them. I have never gone to a political rally in my life but it was pretty exciting and Bill Clinton is quite a speaker. Thanks for stopping in today and I promise I will post a card tomorrow.

Cool! I think it would be very neat to be able to hear either the president or a past president speak. That's just something that is not all that common. Here was here several months ago but I had something else going on and wasn't able to make it.

when Al Gore was running, my daughter and I went to see him and the Secret Service let her in and not me-she pitched a holy crap fit and they grabbed me and let me in too. I wonder what the world would be like if Al were president and Bushit was back in Texas?

I am soooo jealous you got to shake Bill Clinton's hand! I thought he was a wonderful president (and so did the rest of the world) and can't wait until we get a democrat back in office to straighten up the mess shrub (my name for the current prez) has put us in! And I would vote for Al Gore right now if he would only say he would run. Oh well, I'll settle for Hillary and Obama together on the same ticket.
