I am not sure what it will be but I am going to make it something really good because You guys have been good to me. Lets see what I want you to do......Sogn my guest book if you haven't already and then tell me something good you did for someone else this holiday season. what I did was win a contest at work for the most improved store in raising money for childrens miracle network, My prize was $200.00 and instead of keeping it for myself I put on a in store holiday party for the employee's at my store complete with a secret santa. They couldn't thank me enough and as far as I am concerned they deserved it and it raised moral so much it was incredible. Thanks for stopping in and thanks for all the kind comments while I was sick. Happy New Year Everyone

I introduced my mother to cardmaking----she loves it---I gave her all of the items to get started. A great new reason to get up every morning.

You are a very generous person indeed! Good for you!! This season, I collected donations for the Crohn's and Colits Foundation of America. So far, I have raised $240, and I have another $120 coming in company matches. I will be collecting until May 2008, which is when I will participate in a Run/Walk for the benefit. My goal is to reach over $1000. I know I will exceed that amount because I am now forming a team of 20+ people to join me on my walk. How exciting!!!!
Thanks!

What a incredibly nice thing to do!!!!!!!! Mine is not nearly as nice. I don't change my kids (I'm a teacher) color (when they misbehave) on the last day of school before break so they can start their vacation on a positive note. Sometimes it is very hard to do but I think it's worth it.

hi kathy! i just got over being sick, too and it was no fun, so i feel for you!! glad you are on the road to recovery! my favorite thing nice i did over the holiday was pay for someone's stuff in the check out line at a store. she was scrambling as she had forgotten her ckbk, had no cash and a credit card the cashier was not able to use. she had 3 kids and was going to have to go home and come back. i just got the cashier's attention and paid. it was very emotional for the frazzled mom as she could not thank me enough and it just made my day to do it! i love RAK's!!!!
pass it on.......

Hey Kathy! Congrats on the hits! I know it's not much, but I loaned my cell phone to my ex-husband on Christmas Eve when he went on a trip. I would not normally do that because he has a bad habit of losing or breaking things, but it was Christmas! and I got it back in one piece!

This Christmas we made Christmas Dinner and brought it over to a family of "10" house because we knew they were hurting financially.
We always try to give back as much as we can.
Congratulations on your hits!

I forgot to tell you what I did. I made hundreds of cards to send to the soldiers in Iraq for them to choose from and send to their loved ones back home.

Well, I let my sister shop using borrowed money and then told her she had only some of it to pay back. I let her get by with quite a bit.

ok,well lets see here, I am in College now at the age of 34. Never too Late right? So I have become really close with one of my Prof. who right now is in a really upsetting and sad part in her marriage and she feels everything is crashing around her and has no control. She says I help keep her sane with my quirkyness and i am always trying to lift her spirits. So i made a card for her using a the KittyBella and added a small Queen Crown on her head and the inside sentiment was..."You are A Queen". She turned to me and said, You are right Maria! We all have to feel like a Queen in order to get through our trials and tribulations in life. So that is my good deed I guess, I just do not like to see anyone down like that because when a women is not being loved or appreciated, we can let ourselves go, and that is never an option. We must pick up our heads and continue on, We will be stronger for it. Ok, took that off my chest, lol... Thank you for the BLog candy..... and I hope you have a great New YEar for 2008

I'm so sorry you were sick for the holidays! My almost 2 year old son and I were both sick as well, so I know how terrible it is! Thank you for the chance on such awesome blog candy!

Sorry to hear you were sick. I know the feeling, last December I was hospitalized for a lung infection and lost a whole week of work meanwhile my husband was laid off work with no unemployment check for 5 weeks.
This year isn't any better, since I never dug out of the hole from last year.

Long story short, I teach 2nd grade cathecism as a volunteer and gave my students handmade crosses out of clothes pins that I bought at a craft show I had a table at.
