Tom went in the bathroom this morning and was upset because in my haste to get to work I left my jammies on the floor. he said while looking at them it popped in his head that he could draw the frog image on my jammies and here she is. he used prismacolors and glitter for the lipstick and glitter on the eyelids. he drew the lilly pad she is sitting on and the other is from ACM dollar stamps as well as the sentiment. his ribbon is from Jody Morrow and he used tiny primas. cs is something that was hangin around

Tom decided to draw something masculine for a change. His inspiration came from cheryl's husbands jeep. he used prismacolor pencils and glitter for the lights on the jeep. cs was some I had hanging around the house. the ribbon is from Jody morrow

Tom hand drew the flower and colored it with prismacolor pencils. he used some card stock I had bought at hl. The flower was trimmed with a glitter pen. He added some of Jody Morrows ribbon from one of her many shares. He added a ladybug to the corner of the card and a sentiment from su Happy Harmony. Me thinks the sentiment should have been bigger. Perhaps by tomorrow I will have a card ready to go. Have a great Sunday I am off to work....

DH followed the scs card sketch of the week. he used vellum for the 11/2 by 3 piece. the flower is hand drawn and the sentiment is from su's delight in life. He used prismacolors on the flo.wers. and su cardstock. he loves the comments you all make so keep them coming and he will continue to do cards. If you send me a picture of your pet he says he will attempt to draw it into a card and of you follow my blog you know it will end up being a stamp. I know I haven't posted in a few days but I do have more cards by tom and maybe even one by me. I will post them tomorrow I promise. Today I made my forst fried turkey and was it yummy.....I hafta be careful tho or those 85 pounds I took off in weight watchers will be right back on me and then I can't work for them if I am over my goal weight, some of you wonder why I work there when I have a full time job which keeps me away from home at least 50 hours a week, but weight watchers is like a night out, I enjoy all those ladies so much. ok I need to go to bed so I can get up and take pics of cards and then go to work. You guys are the best....lol thats the yankee in me, my co workers love when I say you guys. thanks for checking in. The chihauha is hand drawn and colored with prismacolor pencils, he added glitter to the color and divided the card with ribbon. The sentiment is from stampin up. He is making me nervous creating all these cards...lol he may try to stay home and do nothing but cards. Let me know what you think. something to ponder

Some of You know that I am interested in creating my own stamps. I am researching whether I want acrylic or rubber stamps. My husband is quite the artist and only Cheryl knows this. well today I worked 12 hours and came home to find that hubby had hand drawn the image on this cand and preceeded to decorate it. So what do you think of his hand drawn image?

I WON A CARD CHALLENGE

TOMORROW I WILL POST A PICTURE OF WHAT I WON. IT IS AWESOME. I GOT AN ALTERED TIN WITH CANDY, BLANK CARDS, ENVELOPES, STAMPED IMAGES, A STAMP,RIBBON AND A VARIETY OF BRADS AND A PRETTU CARD ALL FROM MY OWN LITTLE STAMPING WORLD. THE IMAGES WERE FROM RUBBER INSPIRATIONS..GARDEN SET AND I AM THINKING I NEED TO BUY THAT SET. WELL TOMORROW I AM WORKING 6AM TO 8PM SO AFTER THAT I WILL POST THE PICTURE. DOESNT LOOK LIKE I WILL BE STAMPING UNTIL WEDNESDAY. SOMETIMES I WISH I WERE A STAY AT HOME MOM AND THEN I WAKE UP AND REALIZE MY KIDS ARE TWENTY EIGHT AND THIRTY SO THAT WOULDNT WORK WOULD IT...LOL

On this card I used su purple cs and some scrapbook paper from Qvc. The stamp is a dollar stamp from AC Moore. the sentiment is su and I added prima's in the top corners. The flower was colored with prismacolor pencils. the ribbon is from one of Jody Morrows swaps

amy's challenge

Ok so I said I was going to do Amy's challenge today and I did. I used stampin up bashful blue and another stampin up blue( I am terrible at remembering which is which) I also used some scrapbbok paper I bought on Qvc ages ago. I used fishy friends stamps and hero arts friend stamp and and simply stamped sentiment and of course ribbon from Jody Morrow's many swaps. I think it is ok I just wish I had a circular punch intead of cutting a circle by hand...lol

Ok Ok so I tried to upload 2 pictures in the same post and it left me with no room to write anything....lol I messed up again.

The First card we were supposed to be doing Amy Westerman's sketch challenge and some how we deviated from that. supplies were Su designer paper and su cs. I used the flowers from the happy Harmony stamp set. I used su markers on the flower and the sentiment is from papertrey. I must go back and comple amy's sketch without letting my mind wander.

The second card I made to send out to someone who had surgery and is now home recuperating. I wanted it to be bright and Cheerful and I think I attained that. I used su only orange cardstock and I can't remember which brown I used. I used my favorite papertrey stamp again and versamagic dew drops inks. the sentiments are from su. Daughter-in-laws are wonderful

My daughter-in-law was here a couple weeks ago and asked why I didn't use prismacolor pencils and My response was I couldn't bring myself to spend the money on them....Well look what arrived in the mail.......Not one but 2 sets of prismacolor pencils. I am feeling truly blessed this week. I also got my new papertrey stamps. Awesome mail week

beates challenge for blog candy

I don't have a mother or a father and I know only 2 people here in North Carolina so I decided to do a fourth of July card I used su sending celebrations and a su star stamp I can't remember which set it came from. I used glitter on all the fireworks and on the prima's to make them look like they were part of the fireworks. I used all su cs from bold brights and su white card stock. Have a great night

Accordian in a Box

I finished this a while ago but wasnt sure I liked it. I used my Basic Gray Phoebe on the accordian and the bottom of the box. I struggled with the top so opted to use some scrapbook paper for it and it went easier. I added ribbon to to the box top and a puffy heart. the cover of the accordian is su pink cs and I used cb swirl devine. and I added prima's and a heart and key embellisment that was hanging around looking for a home. I also used some vellem small envelopes with floral designs on the inside of the accordian

Someone Special

Many of you don't know that my mom died a couple years ago and I struggled with all the Mothers day cards. They were beautiful but to me they were sad. So I thought I would make a card for someone special in my life who has always been there for me in good times and bad times. This person takes pride in my accomplishments and challenges me to excell when I am feeling defeated. So I guess she is like a mother. Ok enough rambling. I followed the scs color challenge and I used papertrey Green Thumb stamps and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I used su taken with teal paper and ink. I also used su more mustard and bashful blue cs. and the ribbon is from Jody Morrows many ribbon swaps. I used stickles for the flower centers. Hope you like it and I hope she likes it

technique friday

This is a card I did for technique friday over at my little stamping world. I try to check her blog and she what she is doing and challenge myself to do her techniques. this past friday it was a single layer card stamped in Black and then you could color it. I used my crayola colored pencils and some gamisol. I used my new cruisabella stamp and and Amuse sentiment that I thought was fitting to send to a friend. I almost forgot I used my glitter pen on the license plate and the spokes on the hub caps

RAK CARD

This is a rak I received from Pam Popp from scs rak club, It is so pretty and the picture does not do it any justice. She used Roses in winter . I think she did it in lavender lace and added ribbon .

SCS #122

Can You believe I finished this challenge already. It was kind of a simple sketch but then the problem was which stamp set to use, after some hemmong and hawing I went with one I haven't used in ages. su Pocket Fun. I used su cs cranberry crisp and old olive and an off white piece that I don't know where I got it. I used cranberry crisp ink for the sentiment and the flowers on the card base. The flowers on the card base are from Papertreys Green Thumb set. I embossed the flowers on the old olive and added stickles to both kinds of flowers for the centers. I also used the gamisol technique for the 2 friends. Ribbon is from Jody Morrow of course. Have a great Day. I am off to work soon. Hate locking up...but someone has to do it.
