Opinion Please

So I got into another swap this one using papertrey stamps and I have never used the test box until yesterday. I embossed the leaves on black cs using a gold leafing I bought from su a long time ago. I used choc chip cs and pink cs. I used pixie pink for the little flowers on the pink cs. I used choc chip ink for the sentiment. The sentiment is from the test box stamp set from papertrey. So tell me is it worthy of swapping? I only have to do six in all and one for me would be seven. Thanks for stopping in and thanks for your opinion because it matters to me.

Finally it let me upload the picture. I used cc and bb card stock I used a 1993 su set called Ride on and an Amuse sentiment, Ink was versafine black and su close to cocoa. I think its ok for a masculine card. the brads were something I had hanging around the house. I wish on the 4 pieces surrounding the picture were done in 2 different colors. I used the scs card sketch #99. Thanks for stopping by.

Thoughts of the beach

I really enjoyed Myrtle beach and that is why I made this card. I used su blk and certainly celery and vv cs. I used the su color pencils and blender pens. Now looking at the card I think I will go back and put color some water in the background. the ribbon is from one of Jody Morrows ribbon swaps. BTW she has one going on right now so head over and check out confessions of a ribbon addict. The price is great but I have a lot of ribbon to use before I can think of more. Thanks for checking in

I'm Back

My company of 5 weeks left on a plane and now I am free to blog. I miss blogging and I checked on each one of my favorite blogs tonite. Tomorrow I will post a card. I made a cute bella card but my camera was dead. So I will post it in the morning. Thanks for stopping by

Finally made a card

I got a new stamp from alotta rubber stamps and I just thought it was so cute I had to use it today. I just love all their bee images and I might have to buy some more of their bee's. I used su cardstock and fantastix with dewdrops to color the images. I outlined the bride and groom with a gold glitter pen and added ribbon from one of Jody Morrows ribbon swaps. Myrtle Beach

My MIL and my daughter and I headed to Myrtle Beach yesterday. The waves were so big and the undertow was so strong.We had a really good time and of course if you know me it doesnt take much for me to get burnt to a crisp and it happened...lol oh well whats a little pain. Thanks for stopping

swap cards

Well I stressed over this swap and did 4 different sets of cards and this card I did at Cheryl's yesterday and like the way it came out so went with it for the swap. The swap was to use Gina K's stamps which bothe the lighthouse and the sentiment are. The card stock is all stampin up I think its chocolate chip and barely banana and ww. and the ink is versafine black. The ribbon is from one of Jody morrows swaps. I hope the people in the swap like the card. oh yeah I used baby wipes and su inks and sponged the yellow beacon on the lighthouse. Let me know what you think and thanks for stopping in.

Granddaughters card

Ariel wanted to make a card for her dad back in Massachusetts. Its all su cardstock and I cant remember who makes the frogs in thier underpants but it is a very cute and funny card. Didn't she do great for 8. she spread the ink across the card using a babywipe( her sisters wipes of course) Thanks for stopping in

Daughter and Granddaughters arrive

My Daughter and Granddaughters arrived last night from Massachusetts and the first thing they wanted to do this morning was to go swimming. The South has changed me a bit I guess because I just can't swim in the morning I think the water is to cold. My oldest granddaughter wants to make some cards while she is here so I will Post them when we do them. On a great note after doing four different designs for the swap I am in I finally settled on one I did with Cheryl and they are off in the mail Monday. I will post a picture of them too. Floyd the barber

So his name is really Russell and he has been cutting hair for 60 years and he is the one that andy modeled floyd after and believe me he did a good job. Floyd I mean Russell will stop cutting his customers hat to chat with you and have his picture taken. I don't know if I were the customer that I would be very happy.

I am still here

My MIL is here and keeps me pretty busy. My granddaughters and my daughter arrive on Saturday and yes I have been stamping and I will try and post something tomorrow. I just wanted you to know I am still here. I have also been told by big sister I need to put my gown on and take a picture and post it so I will get that on here tomorrow. The card my MIL created she immediately put in an envelope and mailed it but she used the country cottage rose and the sentiment from roses in the winter and it was pretty cute after the 4th try....lol she kept smudging the ink but did really great for her first time stamping....lol see you all soon. oh yeah I am really wishing I could find tickets to the CHA, so if anyone knows someone with a ticket they aren't using let me know.
